Is there any kind of VPN client out there which I can use, apart from the integrated Windows VPN client? I've tried with SoftEther and OpenVPN however I can't seem to create the adapter in there (I think they don't support L2TP/IPSec, I've read they only support SSL 3.0).Ģ things have worked for us, and it is very good and making it onto the VPN every time with no hangs.įirst, go out and download yourself a nice little freeware program called VPNMyWay. As such, we have moved our users onto the Meraki VPN System - we have a Powershell script which runs on logon for users within a security group which creates and configures the Windows VPN client, and creates an L2TP/IPSec adapter, with the relevant PSK, PAP/Unencrypted Password settings and sets it to require authentication, as per Meraki's guidelines. We are looking to decommission our MPLS and move to a pure SD-WAN based network (about 18 of our sites out of about 100 in total). We have recently moved from using the Cisco An圜onnect client (which connected to a Cisco 800 series within our MPLS).
